Platform Security

Concerned about sharing sensitive data? We do not collect it.

IoT Secure was designed to reduce deployment risk, maintenance burden, and cost by avoiding agents, TAP/SPAN ports, packet collection, and sensitive data collection by default.

By default, IoT Secure collects only practical network metadata

By default, IoT Secure collects MAC address, IP address, open ports, and hostname. This information would be useless to a malicious actor unless they already had network access.

Optional DNS, DHCP, and NetFlow logs can be collected to improve device profiling across subnets and locations and enable automated behavior monitoring at the device level.

  • No network TAP or SPAN ports required
  • No packet collection
  • No PCI, PHI, or PII collected by default

Customer data is protected through layered controls

Tenant separation

A true multi-tenant platform helps ensure customer data is never comingled.

Encryption

Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest following best-practice guidelines.

Regional storage

Data is stored in a geographic region selected for the customer environment.

Monitoring

Physical and logical security controls are paired with layered network protections and continuous monitoring.

Built for regulated environments

IoT Secure uses Tier 3/4 data center practices and aligns its security program with common enterprise and government compliance expectations.

Security and compliance documentation can be provided during evaluation or procurement discussions.
